Tour Catch-Up: Novak Djokovic and the never-ending circus Down Under; Tennis gets back underway!

In the latest episode of The Passing Shot, Joel and Kim return for the 2022 season with a jam packed episode with all the latest happenings from the ATP and WTA tours in the build up to the Australian Open.

With Novak Djokovic’s recent arrival in Australia and subsequent detention and court hearing, all eyes are on the World Number 1 in the run up to the AO now that he has been freed to play to enter and play in the tournament. Joel and Kim debate all the fall out and controversy surrounding the recent events and consider how this will affect his chances at capturing slam number 21.

They also round up all the winners from the first week on tour, which saw Rafa Nadal claim his 89th singles title, Canada winning their first ATP cup and the return of Simona Halep and Amanda Anisimova to winning ways.

Joel also tests Kim with a new Par for the Courts, so play along and see how well you know your men’s Slam winners post 2000.
