Miami Open Catch-Up: No Escape from Alcaraz; Scintillating Swiatek strolls past Osaka; Clay swing begins

In the latest episode of The Passing Shot, the tennis podcast by fans, Joel and Kim catch up on the past week in Miami as the Sunshine Double draws to a close with Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek claiming the singles titles.

With Carlos Alcaraz becoming the youngest Miami Champion in history and Iga Swiatek winning 3 consecutive WTA1000 events and claiming the new WTA Number One Ranking, there are plenty of historic moments to discuss, not to mention John Isner claiming his own Men’s Doubles Sunshine Double with two different partners.

Joel and Kim also look ahead to the start of the clay court season, with North American and European clay swings getting underway, and Naomi Osaka announcing she is having a proper crack at the clay this season whilst Daniil Medvedev may be out of the clay all together as she undergoes surgery.
